Fargo and Red are the secondary antagonists in the 1984 live-action vigilante/gang movie Savage Streets.

They are a duo of perverted misogynists who are Jake's right-hand men and like their leader, they too want revenge on the Scars over their car getting trashed. In an act of revenge, they raped Heather out of spite and helped Jake with Francine's death.

They are portrayed by Sal Landi and Scott Mayer respectively.

What Makes Them Hate Sinks?[]

  • They are no better than Jake, if anything, they are a lot more sadistic, misogynistic, and even perverted as they go around sexually harassing, assaulting, and even messing with a few women for their own twisted amusement and lustful satisfaction. They even go along with Jake's actions of harming those Brenda care for, especially when one of them has very critical conditions.
  • They love to bully and mess with Vince despite the fact that he was a member of the Scars, even going as far as to taunt him over raping Heather, which they encouraged him to do alongside Jake.
  • Although Fargo unintentionally almost ran over Heather, who is deaf, he refuses to "apologize" for Jake while Red just laughed like it was nothing, not even caring about Heather's safety.
  • They did a "cavity search" on Fadden's girlfriend in front of a beaten Fadden who was being used by Jake like as if he was a punching bag while the duo sexually assaulted her with Red shoving Vince's face into her breasts.
  • To get revenge on the Satins, they alongside Jake groped and later raped Heather out of spite just to get even with them, before that happened, Red would teach her inappropriate signs and forcibly steal her first kiss as if it was nothing and later left her for dead when they heard someone nearby. What's worse, Heather was entirely innocent throughout the film as she did no wrong against the Scars and just went along with Brenda and her friends' actions unaware of what was really going on at that time, making Fargo and Red just deplorable as Jake.
    • They even help Jake pressure Vince into raping her like it was "his birthday". Vince would later feel remorse and show signs of PSTD for what he did to Heather as shown when he was running away from the hospital after he apologized to her while she was unconscious.
  • They, alongside Jake, hauled women over to their laps and harass them in front of Vince as a way of taunting him about raping Heather earlier. One of the women was Francine, which resulted in a bar fight with two men who tried to stop them.
  • They helped Jake get revenge on Francine by cornering her and even encouraging him into doing the deed while stopping Vince from preventing this. What's worse is that they mocked the fact that Francine was going to be married to her boyfriend, insulting and laughing at her corpse with Fargo quoting how she's "all drenched in red".
  • In a final act of spite, they tried to rape and murder Brenda just to add insult to injury on what they've done to Heather earlier, which ultimately led to their deserving downfall and demise.
  • Despite their relationship with Jake, it comes off as mutualism sadism and cruelty instead of genuineness as they both commit their crimes for The Evulz, especially when they talked badly behind Jake's back and Fargo would end up being annoyed with the latter forcing him to "apologize" for their actions. Not even Fargo and Red care for one another, while the possibilities of Fargo's relationship with Red are vague, Red's reaction to Fargo's death is only of shock instead of mourning, even cowardly begged for his life to be spared, showing that their relationship is ingenuine.
  • Like Jake, their excuse goes far beyond the standards and comes off as utmost pettiest than most petty motives with their car being trashed by the Satins, demonstrating how pathetic and low it seemed. While overstated, it is understandable since it's likely karma for nearly running over Heather without any remorse whatsoever and the fact that the car gets cleaned out in the climax of the film shows that there's no gain from Fargo and Red's actions than just being outright sadists who raped an innocent deaf girl and aided with a pregnant girl's death for no reason at all than just to satiate their own sadistic amusement.
