Flash Sentry is a minor antagonist of a My Little Pony Equestria Girls fanfic, Canterlot Screams, which is written by HourglassTheHybird on Wattpad (who also wrote Deltarune: The Twilight Zone on said website).
He is an arrogant student and band leader at Canterlot High School, who after being falsely accused of being the Ghostface killer that killed several students, decides to get revenge on the people who believed that he was the killer and on Twilight for the same reason, despite her not believing anything.
He is Twilight and Sunset's former boyfriend.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- Even before the killing spree started, he was already an egotistical jerk who wanted his band to be as famous as possible.
- Before the events of the story, he was an arrogant student who always get mad at anything whenever his band doesn't get as much popularity.
- He is always easily forgiven whenever he does something, especially when he made Twilight cry when her band won by default and is often gets away with his actions scot-free, with even Sunset Shimmer calling him out on this.
- After everyone realized there's a killer loss in the school, they all panicked and tried to escape, with Flash being indirectly responsible for couple of students being killed by Ghostface for his cowardly actions when he locked them inside.
- While he was falsely accused of being the Ghostface killer after Vignette's somewhat gave proof of it despite it being false, it doesn't change anything as he goes on a massive rant of calling everyone as "freaks", which made everyone believed that he was the killer.
- Even when Twilight tries to comfort him, he outright refuses and insults her in front of the crowd, which not only made her cry, but also making everyone believing he was a terrible person after all, eventually throwing and locking him outside to protect themselves from Flash, this somewhat lead to his fall into villainy.
- He will eventually break in and tried to outright kill Twilight Sparkle, before being thrown down the stairs and shot multiple times by Sunset Shimmer, believing he was the real killer.
- While he could be seen as sympathetic due to how he was accused of being the killer despite it being not true, it doesn't change the fact he outright tries to kill Twilight for no reason.
