He was voiced by Corey Burton, who also voiced the Ringmaster in Disney's Villains' Revenge.
Biography[]
Once a former, stern commander of Galaluna's military, The commander secretly worked with General Modula for years to make his invasion of Galaluna smoother and easier in promise of great power for future world conquest and a "reward beyond measure". The commander eventually leads a mission on one of Galaluna's moons where the Mutraddi have taken a bunch of soldiers hostage. The commander then stalls Lance to let the hostages die and the Mutraddi to get their orders from Modula about the planned conquest. When Lance manages to find a way out, the hostages were already killed my the Mutraddi themselves. Lance also sees the Mutraddi jamming Galaluna's signals for the coming invasion. Killing the Mutraddi, the commander sees the dead hostages, and decides to blame Lance for their deaths, leaving him to be hanged by the King himself.
The commander then sends the Mutraddi to ravage Galaluna, leading to Galaluna's capital city being burned alive and thousands of people being slaughtered left and right. The commander then sees Lance escaping and tries to stop him, saying that he has been planning/facilitating the invasion for many years to gain power and strength among all others and conquer multiple other worlds. The commander then gets his sword out and prepares to kill Lance with it, ordering the Mutraddi to exterminate the royal family just to hurt him further.
Lance fights the commander in a long duel, but Lance corners the commander on the remains of a bridge where he impales the commander straight through the stomach, killing him once and for all and avenging the countless lives lost because of him.
What makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- He willingly sells out his entire race and the planet of Galaluna to be invaded by General Modula and the Mutraddi just for more power, future world conquest, and a "reward beyond measure", which led to countless civilian lives lost and others enslaved by the forces of the Mutraddi.
- Though he said there were other traitors who helped overthrow the monarchy, none of those traitors were shown nor were their roles in the coup ever stated, and he's the only other traitor besides General Modula shown on-screen.
- During a hostage situation, when Lance infiltrates the base and finds all of the hostages killed by the Mutraddi, He pins the blame on the deaths on Lance and leaves him to be eventually executed by the King via hanging just to get away with betraying his own kind.
- He reveals that he planned and facilitated the invasion for years while he was working as a commander, secretly working with Modula behind the scenes while uncaring about the consequences of his actions.
- He casually ordered the entire royal family (including the king and his young daughter) to be exterminated by the Mutraddi just to seize power and to hurt Lance (who escaped from the palace) even further.
- He tries to brutally murder Lance with a sword, saying that he's going to enjoy killing him while taunting that Galaluna was doomed from the start after ordering his Mutraddi soldiers to find and kill the King.
- As he and Lance fight in front of the destroyed city, Lance calls out him over his actions, he shows no remorse for the deaths of his own people, and coldly states that the royal family would die that night.
Trivia[]
- Although only appearing in one episode, he can be considered the most despicable and hatable character within the entire series besides Baron, as he's one of the only few to lack any sympathetic qualities and was meant to be seen as loathsome and hateable by the rest of the characters.
