Gavin Reed is a major antagonist in the video game Detroit: Become Human. He is a detective in the Detroit City Police Department.

He was voiced and motion-captured by Neil Newborn.

What Make Him a Hate Sink?

• He is extremely arrogant and ambitious, and according to his in-game profile, he is willing to trample on the careers of others in order to advance.
• He is very xenophobic towards androids, as shown by his treatment of Connor.
• He almost killed Connor if Connor told him not to abuse Carlos Ortiz's android.
• He punches Connor in the stomach if he refuses to give him a cup of coffee, and then tells Connor to stay away from him if he makes him coffee.
• He constantly makes fun of Hank Anderson for his alcohol abuse.
• If Connor acts ironic towards him or ignores him in his last appearance, Gavin will try to kill him.
• He shows no redeeming qualities and has no excuse for his actions at all.
