Mr. and Mrs. Monroe (also known as Grace Monroe's Parents) are minor antagonists of the Cartoon Network and HBO Max animated anthology series Infinity Train, serving as the overarching antagonists in Book 3: Cult of the Conductor, in particular the episode "The Origami Car".

What Makes Them A Hate Sink?

• They don't see their daughter Grace as anything but a doll, pushing her to other caretakers, not appearing for a big rehearsal and not allowing her to let her have ice cream with the other girls, and don't seem to understand that what she needs is comfort and love and not her father denying that she was a shoplifter.
• They were emotionally distant from their daughter, not even caring that she was caught shoplifting so that they'd finally notice her. They also didn't come on the day of a big recital with the other dancers.
• They told the police officer that they raised their daughter with morals and guidance after Grace shoplifted, which is hypocritical since they let her do some bad things by neglecting her.
• Being neglectful of their daughter and not raising her to accept responsibility for her actions is what caused Grace to be lured into the train and become the way she is today, and later create the Apex along with Simon.
• Unlike Tulip's parents who are divorced and going through a lot of issues, but they're loving and caring parents and still love their daughter, Grace's parents are still married and wealthy, but they're still remained neglectful parents.
• They still lack any comedic moments and redeeming qualities, and they're played completely seriously.
