H.J. Hollis is the main antagonist of the Lego Pixar: BrickToons episode "Trust Yer Ol' Pal, Mater." He is the rude and egotistical racer for N2O Cola who strives to usurp Lightning McQueen and become the new champion of the Piston Cup.
He was voiced by Josh Keaton.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- He is a massive jerk to Lightning McQueen, making fun of his monster truck upgrades and laughing at the idea of him being fired from the Piston Cup.
- While he was seen joking around with Flip Dover, the fact that he rams him into the wall just so he could win the race proves that he doesn't care about Flip deep down.
- This moment also shows he's not above dirty tactics to ensure his victory.
- Shows no concern when he causes a massive crash that could have endangered several racers' lives.
- Even after he's buried under the crashed cars, he still refused to accept the idea that Lightning could beat him and once again tries to win the race.
- He's a sore loser, as rather than showing Lightning honor after he beat him, he simply scowls and drives away.
- While he was seen crying over his loss, it was played for laughs and satisfaction, with only a small amount of sympathy.
- Overall, he's a completely self-absorbed bully, in the same vein fellow Hate Sinks as Jackson Storm and Chick Hicks, who harasses Lightning just because he can and sees it as his right to become the Piston Cup champion even though he obviously doesn't deserve it.
