The Hostile Takeover Bank Team Crew are the secondary antagonists of Pixar's 7th full-length animated feature film Cars.
They are Chick Hicks' minions and pit crew who help him in his races, not even caring with his dirty actions. Not being above their boss, they are also an arrogant and selfish group of bullies who make fun of others, such as Guido and Lightning McQueen.
What Makes Them Hate Sinks?[]
- In general, much like their boss Chick Hicks, they are shown to be arrogant, mean, unpleasant, naughty, rude and uncaring to others, not even showing any signs of remorse for breaking the law or their bad actions. They also seem to enjoy chaos as they laugh in a somewhat evil manner whenever Chick succeeds in something.
- In the beginning of the film they try to make Chick win the race, supporting him throughout and seeming to tolerate him causing a massive pileup in which many racers crashed.
- They laugh after Chick insults McQueen, showing that they are mere jerks and bullies like their boss.
- During the big race at the climax of the movie, when McQueen spun out in the infield which Chick had actually caused, the team crew members all laugh after seeing that Guido is the only tire changer that McQueen brought to the race.
- They bully and make fun of Guido due to his small size, calling him names like "tiny" and "shrimpie".
- Their "defeat" by Guido is somewhat played for satisfaction, as Guido's tremendously quick pit stop makes their mustaches fall off in shock, indicating that they had underestimated his skills.
