Haeda Gunnel is a minor antagonist who appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans.
What Makes Him Despicable?[]
- He calls Orga and his fellows in the third division of CGS brats who do as their superiors tell them to say.
- During Orliss's attack on CGS, while he warns the third division of what's happening, Haeda claims that he and his group will attack from the rear but this is a ruse to leave the third division to die while Haeda and his fellows in the first corps of CGS flee with Danji being one of the casualties in the third corps confirmed.
- When the third corps triggers the flares of the first corps, Haeda shows no hesitation in abusing Todo when he accuses him of triggering them which proves he will extend his abusive behavior to fellow adults.
- After he and the rest of the first corps return, he has the bulk of the third corps gathered out of anger for their interference in the escape plan even though Haeda and the first corps lied about helping them against their aggressors.
- Beats Orga up over his role in the aggressors targeting the first corps and was willing to beat up Orga's comrades as well, showing how the first corps were worse than Maruba.
- He never owns up to leaving the third corps to die in spite of making a false promise.
- During diner time, after getting his meal, he kicks Biscuit in the rear end over it not being chunky enough.
- After waking up from the meal being laced with sedatives, he still refuses to own up to his abusive behavior which earns him a kick in the face from Orga who refuses to let him go over Haeda's "incompetance" costing the lives of third corps soldiers followed up by Mikazuki shooting Haeda's brains out.
Notes[]
- Given Tekkadan's actions in the second half of the show's second season (read: Informed Wrongness), some might see Haeda as inconsistently heinous to a very small extent, as they believe that the group would not make wrong decisions if he actually puts them in their place.
