Harrison is a minor yet pivotal antagonist of a Pokémon fanfic, Pokémon Hearted Souls.

He is a charismatic pokemon trainer who seems to be a friendly rival to Ethan in the Johto league. However, it is later revealed that he will do anything to become the champion, even if it means to actually attack Ethan.

What Makes Him a Hate Sink?

• While he seems to be a friendly opponent to Ethan, it would only be revealed to be a facade as he will do anything to become the champion, even if it means to actually attack or kill Ethan.
• During the tournament, he would start off with a normal Pokémon battle, but would later try to send his Pokémon to outright attack Ethan while fighting his Pokémon.
• After revealing his true colors and intentions, he sends out both his Pokémon to attack Ethan and his Typhlosion.
• He nearly caused Ethan to forfeit the match before his Meganium finally defeats Harrison's Pokémon.
• After his defeat, he outright sends out his Tauros to run over Ethan before being attacked by his Heracross. This shows that Harrison is a sore loser.
