Hody Jones is a bigoted fishman who hates humans and would not mind harming fishmen. He is a major antagonist in the One Piece manga and anime series, being the main antagonist in the Fishman Island Arc.

What Makes him Hated?

• 10 years before Fishman Island Arc, he murdered Queen Otohime even though she was trying to create peace between humans and fishmen. He then framed the murder on a human to continue tension between humans and fishmem and destroyed peace.
• Even since his youngest age, he already hated humans and wanted to kill all of them without any reason. Unlike Arlong and other fishmen, he never had reason to hate humans, but chose to hate them.
• He enslaved and killed many humans and put them through torture.
• He started a coup in Fishman Island and attempted to kill the king of the country, King Neptune and the entire royal family.
• He is shown to use one of his henchmen as a human shield in his battle against Roronoa Zoro.
• He terrorized the citizens of Fishman Island along with the New Fishman Pirates and threatened to have them support his group or threatened to kill them.
• He nearly destroys Fishman Island by having Noah, a large ship, drop on the island. He did not care that his childhood friends were on the island.
• He wanted to destroy the entire humanity. While Arlong will never hurt Fishmen even they are not agree with his ideas, Hody Jones has tried to kill all Fishmen just because some of them are friendly to humans.
• He was highly arrogant and thought that he was better than humans because he was a fishman.
• He has no positive, comical, or brilliant moments. Hody is a psychopathic bigot who hated humans for no other reason because he can and did not mind harming and killing his own people to get things his way. Unlike the majority of One Piece villains, he has none redeeming qualities.
