Ibara is one of the main antagonists of Dr. Stone. He was an egotistical minister on Treasure Island who pretended to rule the island under the guidance of the Great Leader. However, it was revealed that Ibara was behind petrifying the leader and has been ruling Treasure Island to do what he pleases.
What Makes Him Hated?[]
- He petrified the Great Leader and attempted to murder a baby Soyuz.
- Ibara ruled Treasure Island and lied to all the inhabitants of the island that the Great Leader had been leading the island the entire time.
- Ibara is a perverted individual who is shown to molest and assault the girls he was around. He also attempted to molest Kohaku at one point.
- He is revealed to be a serial rapist and killer who uses his power as a minister to lure in girls to make a harem and then corner them while they are alone with him so that he can rape and then kill them.
- Ibara had Kirisame petrified when she finds out Ibara's true nature.
- Ibara manipulates Oarashi into taking the petrification weapon to petrifying everyone on the island. Unbeknownst to Oarashi, he would also be petrified in the process. When Ibara finds Oarashi, he breaks apart his statue to retrieve the petrification weapon.
- Ibara gloats to himself about petrifying everyone on the island including enemies, allies, and innocents alike.
- He shows complete disregard for people who are petrified. He would casually break apart statues of petrified individuals for his own reasons uncaring over the fact that they have been petrified.
