Incubus is a minor antagonist of the action/fantasy anime/manga Record of Ragnarok. Like his name suggests, he is a incubus who is physically obsessed with the Valkyrie Brunhilde, wanting to make her his.
What Makes Him Despicable?[]
- After Brunhilde declares the Ragnarok tournament, he meets her and Goll outside Valhalla and begins to harass the leader of the Valkyries.
- He tries to get Brunhilde to sleep with him by offering to protect her from the gods.
- When he thought Brunhilde kneeled before him (in reality, she is kneeling in the presence of Thor), he gloated about his lustful attraction to her and prepares to abuse her, before Thor slams him into a wall with Mjolnir, ending the pathetic existence of a pathetic demon.
- Although his death at the hands of Thor is horrific, it is not played for sympathy at all, as he deserved it for harassing and attempting to abuse Brunhilde.
- While he did offer to protect Brunhilde from the gods, this is most likely pragmatic and a way to lower her guard so he can have his way with her.
- Overall, he has no likable nor redeeming qualities in his short panels of screentime.
