Jake, also know as the Bandit Leader, is the main antagonist of the Long Road Ahead episode of Season 1's The Walking Dead. He was an excessively cruel thief who led the Save-Lots Bandits, who raided and stole supplies from numerous locations.

He was voiced by Maxwell Zorbell.

What Makes Him a Hate Sink?

• He was the barbaric and hypocritical leader of the Save-Lot Bandits, who looted from many other locations like the Stone Mountain School.
• According to unused dialogue from Ben, Jake also sadistically picked his group off one by one, and even raped all the girls from that group while forcing the men to watch.
• He kidnapped, raped, and slaughtered Jolene's daughter, all without a shred of remorse, with Jolene herself stating how he was a "rapist monster".
• Even the cannibalistic St. Johns were unsettled by the group's cruelty, refusing to trade with them because of Jake's horrendous actions.
• He is so unhinged and bloodthirsty that when arguing with a fellow bandit about supplies, he shoots him in a rage and calls him an asshole before firing more bullets into his corpse. He even insults all of his other bandits each time he interacts with them.
• He forces a reluctant Ben to give more supplies to him in exchange for his life. This is one of the main factors as to why Kenny resents him so much. Once Ben is unable to provide more supplies, he holds all the Motor Lodge survivors hostage and hypocritically accuses them of stealing their supplies, even though the Save-Lot Bandits attacked first.
• Because of his actions, he is indirectly responsible for Duck getting bitten by a walker, Kenny's depression, and Katjaa and Duck's deaths later on.
