I'm sorry for what happened, sir. I really am.
~ Jake faking his remorse of killing Henry Morton to his father while smiling at him and last words before he was shot by him.

Jake O'Hara is the main antagonist of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode "Conscience".

He is a sadistic sociopath who murdered his neighbor, Henry Morton out of pure sadism and later trying to get sympathy by making himself as the victim to escape his crimes before eventually being shot by the latter's father.

He was portrayed by Jordan Garrett.

What makes him a Hate Sink?[]

  • Before the murder of Henry Morton, he was already a sociopath who got expelled multiple times for Arson and violent behavior towards other kids.
  • He bullied innocent kids just for his own amusement.
  • During his time at Rhinebeck Survival camp, he tortured several kids by cutting, burning and sadomizing them out of pure sadism while torturing animals infront of them to make them watch.
  • He kidnapped and murderer 13-year old Henry Morton for fun by shoving pebbles down his throat.
  • After he was suspected for the murder, he tried to weasel his way out by fake crying, saying it was a accident and lying that Henry killed an innocent animal and that he was sexually abused by other kids at camp, not only is this false but also the other way as he was the one who did it.
  • After being exposed to his crimes and the Judge declined of sending him to prison, he sadistically grins at Brett Morton, causing the latter in a blind rage after the latter knew what he did to his son.
  • He taunts Morton again by "apologizing" to him for killing his son before trying to walk home with his mom, attempting to get scot-free of his actions while once again giving him a smug smiling as means to mock him. This lead to his deserved karma as Brett shoots him at the chest, killing him.
  • His death was played out of pure satisfaction as he deserved for the atrocious crimes.
