James Anderson is a posthumous antagonist in the SCP Foundation universe. He is the main antagonist of SCP-001-05, although due to the speculative nature of the Factory it is possible he never existed at all.
What Makes Him Detestable?[]
- He is the founder of the Anderson Factory, which he made as a nightmarish hellhole for the hundreds of workers, where many men, women and children were chained up and worked to death under the machines that scoured the flesh from their bones for the praise of his god, likely the Scarlet King. If you are wondering what the Factory was like, it was pretty much the definition of hell itself.
- He allowed his sadistic security guards force the workers into 16 hour workdays, only stopping on Sundays.
- He would also experiment on his workers and turn them into inhuman monsters and would have them brainwashed into serving him.
- It also revealed that he used girls as young as eight as breeding slaves, which makes him even worse.
- However in 1875, a worker was able to escape the Factory and told President Ulysses S. Grant about what was happening and told about the horrific living conditions that Anderson had enforced. Grant then deployed 150 soldiers to shut down the Factory, with the leader being the future 05-1.
- He sent his brainwashed monster servants to attack the soldiers and which killed a bunch of good men.
- He is a coward and was found cowering under his desk.
- Even after being killed, he forced 05-1 to make a deal where he would undo the deaths of the Foundation Personnel.
