“ | Wayne Bailey/Ghostface: Humor me. Jason: Alright, fine. It was even better than we could have imagined. And when the knife, went in her, it's like... she wasn’t a human anymore. Just an animal. And everytime when I went in, she was less... Less human... And then? She was... just meat. Ghostface: But she wasn't just meat, Jason... She was a person, our film professor. Jason: Yeah, well... F-ck her. She gave me a C- on my Gaileo paper. |

~ Jason tells "Greg", how he feels about killing Laura, even admitting of doing so for the pettiest reason of doing so for the latter giving him a bad grade. |
Jason Carvey is a minor antagonist in the 2023 slasher film Scream VI, the sixth installment of the Scream franchise.
He was a film student at Blackmore University who, alongside his roommate Greg Bruckner wanted to finish making Richie Kirsch's film that was halted when Samantha Carpenter killed him. To satisfy his bloodlust, Jason killed his professor Laura Crane, but ended up killed by the true Ghostface of the film.
He is portrayed by Tony Revolori. In-costume scenes as Ghostface were portrayed by Mathieu Coderre.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- He dressed in a Ghostface costume and murdered Laura Crane just for giving him a C-, saying that she "wasn't human anymore, just an animal”.
- He planned to kill Samantha and Tara Carpenter to finish Richie's movie.
- He has absolutely no redeeming qualities or sympathetic moments, which is in direct contrast with the film's main Ghostface Wayne Bailey being a tragic villain who loves his kids and is disgusted with how petty Jason's motive is.
- His death caused by Wayne Bailey isn't played for sympathy in any way and he fully deserved it.
