Jimmy Pesto (real name Jimmy Poplopovich) is a recurring antagonist in the animated series Bob's Burgers. He is main protagonist Bob Belcher's archnemesis.
In the first 11 seasons of the series, he was voiced by Jay Johnston. From season 14 onward, he was voiced by Eric Bauza.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- He is a crude, obnoxious, arrogant bully who believes he is better than everyone else.
- He regularly mocks and bullies Bob Belcher.
- His cruelty to Bob extends toward Bob's family; at one point, he insults Bob's children right in front of him.
- He is an indifferent father to his sons Jimmy, Jr., Andy, and Ollie, and looks down upon Jimmy, Jr.'s love of dancing.
- He bullies and dominates his business partner and supposed best friend, Trevor, treating him like a lackey.
- He has a diaper fetish and patronizes prostitutes, making them call him "Lil Baby Num-Num".
- He refuses to allow Jimmy Jr. to hang out with Bob's daughter Tina, despite knowing that Tina has a crush on him.
- He forces Bob to shave off his moustache in order to get Jimmy Jr. to Tina's party.
- He regularly tries to steal Bob's potential customers.
- While his restaurant is successful, he serves terrible food.
- This also extend to the burger making competition, which the judges immediately spit out Jimmy’s burger entry after one bite.
- It is frequently implied that he is insecure and has no friends besides Trevor, meaning that he antagonizes Bob to inflate his fragile ego.
- Jimmy tries, unsuccessfully, to steal the lease to Bob's restaurant.
- When Bob gets stuck to a toilet, Jimmy tells the entire neighborhood, and even sells T-shirts making fun of his plight.
- He harasses Bob about getting a higher score on the arcade game "Burger Boss" and writes "BobSux" on the scoreboard.
- He steals Bob's Super Bowl commercial.
- He tries, unsuccessfully, to copy Bob's burger recipe.
