Johnny Truelove is the titular main antagonist of the 2006 biographical crime drama Alpha Dog. He is the drug-dealing leader of the gang membership and was the one who was responsible for the kidnapping death of Zack Mazursky, After his killing, Johnny was arrested in Paraguay, and is currently in California awaiting trial, facing the death penalty for his actions and was inspired by real-life murder leader Jesse James Hollywood. Hollywood was convicted on July 8, 2009, for ordering the kidnapping and murder of Nick Markowitz and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole who the film's based upon.

He was played by Emile Hirsch, who also played the teenage version of Sedgewick Bell in the 2002 film The Emperor's Club.

What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]

He is a greedy, manipulative drug dealer/businessman who only kidnapped Jake's brother Zack Mazursky till he gets paid for money and keeping him away from his family.
- He doesn't care about his father or anyone else but himself.
He went into a verbally and psychologically abusive fight with Zack's brother Jake just before his kidnapping only not getting paid.
He told a sick joke if he would offer his friend Frankie $25,000 dollars if he kills the kid, if he ask was a joke, he said "of course, it a joke, man."
- It was later revealed it was for real, as shown with Elvis Schmidt.
He made fun of Jake on the phone call without speaking with him
He made his henchmen to kill off Zack, as Keith, Elvis and Frankie didn't wanted to kill him, as Zack got very emotional during the killing just before his death.
He made Olivia a graving mother after Zack's death.
He fleed to New Mexico to get away from his crimes, then later on Paraguay just before his arrest.
