Jonah Smith is a supporting antagonist in Season 2 of All For Luz, serving as one of the secondary antagonists of the Death to Normality arc. He is a giant and intimidating assassin of The Wittebane Mega Church, infamous as one of the most brutal of them.
What makes him a Hate Sink?[]
- One of Tyler Wittebane’s top assassins, Jonah is a giant, sadistic, 19-year old and all around violent killer who is shown to be the worst of the worst of the Wittebane Church Mercenaries.
- Before becoming a Quirk user assassin, Jonah was sent to prison, in a news that made National headline, for raping and murdering his wife,
- When he was pulled out by Tyler Wittebane’s connections, he became an assassin who love torturing and making people suffer before killing them. He also has the quirk Smog, which allows him to form his body into mist and dodge attacks while hurting people.
- He uses his gigantism to his advantage to terrify his victims.
- When Riley and Millie come after failing to kill Luz, Jonah was prepared to murder Millie with a pistol for bad-mouthing his boss before being told by Tyler to stand down, much to his annoyance.
- He was ordered by Tyler to kill Camila Noceda out of spite against Luz for surviving their first assassination attempt, Jonah gets teleported into her house (by another assassin named Charlie) and he proceeds to taunt Camila as he throws her around and uses his Quirk to suffocate her.
- When Camila shows no more fear in her impeding death, Jonah simply shoots her in the head, killing her, in annoyance before kicking her corpse in disrespect and escaping via Warping.
- When Luz attempts to go after Tyler Wittebane directly, she is met with Jonah and the other assassins, Sophia and Charlie, and they engaged in a brutal fight which leads to hundreds of innocent civilians killed as collateral damage.
- Jonah, for fun and to gain an edge by breaking her after Sophia is killed, has Charlie teleport Camila’s body as a human shield so Luz accidentally blows it up with her Forcefield Cannon, making her falsely assume she was tricked into killing her mother, before a laughing Jonah has Charlie full rush her with military grade weapons, during her emotional breakdown and seemingly blow her to pieces.
- Jonah laughs thinking the teenaged girl is finally dead. However, getting repaired by her Super Regeneration, a VERY PISSED OFF Luz goes on a rampage, slaughtering Charlie and then finally a fearful Jonah who, with her Super Strength, she promptly stomps in his head for a quick, but VERY satisfying, kill.
