NOTE: This page only talks about his video game version, as his anime and stage play adaptations lack the qualities which make him a Hate Sink. |
Juan Corrida is a minor antagonist in the final case of Ace Attorney: Justice For All, serving as the victim of the final case.
Initially just a seemingly famous actor who had the misfortune of dying after losing to his rival, it's soon revealed he was a rather despicable man during his past.
What Makes Him A Hate Sink?[]
- He dumped his girlfriend Celeste (whom he was soon to marry) despite the fact they both were genuinely happy with one another merely because he found out she had dated his career rival in the past, showing he was willing to put his petty pride over his own marriage, which led to Celeste killing herself soon after.
- After Celeste's death, he would proceed to forge a suicide note, in which he'd place all the blame on Matt, merely to ruin his career and reputation, and while granted, Matt himself isn't that much better of a person, it was still a harsh move to do on someone merely because they were competing with him for views on their respective channels.
- Additionally, this shows he was perfectly willing to exploit her suicide just in order to one-up his rival, with no indication he did so in order to bring light that Matt also played a part on why she killed herself, showing the length of his self-pride.
- Oftentimes, when he recieved gifts, usually bear-themed from his fans, he'd usually just throw them away due to not liking them.
- While he may have not deserved to die, no one truly mourns his death once his actions are revealed, with Adrian herself calling him a monster due to his treatment of Celeste.
- While Matt is far worse in terms of evilness, he has several "Love to Hate" factors to him which make him entertaining, while Juan lacks most of that.
