Junie Harper Is the main antagonist of King of the Hill episode "Hilloween".
She is voiced by Sally Field.
What Makes Her a Hate Sink?[]
- She hates Halloween because she thinks it is a "Satanic" holiday.
- At the Youth Fellowship church, she tries to persuade people that they shouldn't celebrate Halloween. She believes that it is the work of the devil. According to Harper, she believes that ancient druids celebrate the holiday by eating babies by the light of their Jack-O-Lanterns and danced afterwards.
- She went to the Tom Landry Middle School after hearing Luanne about doing a Haunted House and threatened the school principal to get canceled or else she'll take legal action. This resulted in Hank and his friends cancelling decorating the school gym with Halloween decorations, even calling her a "witch".
- According to Luanne, she believes that a haunted house is "the devil's rattrap and fun is the cheese".
- She uses fear tactics to make sure that people agree with her opinions.
- When Hank and Bobby Hill vandalized Junie's house (which is justified) she started chasing them, but she didn't pay attention and accidentally ran over her cat, Joshua.
- While at city hall, she used a dead cat as evidence, much to the disgust of the city council members. This was an attempt for Junie to persuade the city council members to cancel Halloween.
- While she was defeated, she didn't get punished for cancelling Halloween. Thus, making her a Karma Houdini.
- Judging by her reputation, she was known for gathering gutsy letters, complaints, and threats.
