Kai is a minor antagonist of Better Call Saul. He is a cocky and belligerent construction worker from Germany in Werner Ziegler's team.
He was portrayed by Ben Bela Böhm.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- Already from the first moments, he seems like a huge idiot both towards his friends and employer Mike, as he is more focused on drinking beer and flirting with women than the construction project.
- He goes to blows with one of his teammates in anger over the slow progress of the work.
- He disobeys orders from both Werner Ziegler or Mike and insults them whenever he can, showing his horribly egotistical nature.
- When Mike organizes a night at the strip club for the team, Kai drunkenly forces himself on one of them and if Mike hadn't offered a bribe to the owner, he would've been arrested.
- Although he has several moments he enjoys with the team and Werner claims him to be a good boy, he proves his colors by talking to Mike about Werner's murder, praising it and claiming that he was "soft", prompting Mike to immediately punch him.
