Keeper Agruss is one of the main antagonists (alongside Miraj Scintel) of "The Slaves of Zygerria" arc in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

He was the keeper of the Zygerrian Labor Processing Hub on the planet Kadavo where Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and Captain Rex were imprisoned. Despite the planet being a slave empire, his ruthlessness and sadism stood out even amongst its people.

He was voiced by Victor Brandt.

What Makes Him a Hate Sink?

• He enslaved hundreds of innocent Togruta (Ahsoka Tano's species) captured by the Zygerrians to make them work in his Processing Hub.
• After Obi-Wan Kenobi was captured by the Zygerrians—upon noting Obi-Wan's rebellious streak, he dropped several Togruta slaves down into a bottomless pit to their deaths just to prove a point to him.
• After Obi-Wan tried to resist him, Agruss had a slave whipped to force Obi-Wan into obedience.
• Despite him technically working for his queen, Miraj Scintel, Agruss didn't show any reaction to Dooku killing her.
  • It is likely possible with his queen out of the picture, Agruss would have seek to become the most powerful slaver in the Zygerrian Slave Empire.
• Out of spite towards Obi-Wan, Agruss destroyed the controls and tried to drop all his slaves to their deaths in one fell swoop just so that the Jedi Master couldn't save them all.
• Mocked Obi-Wan for his Jedi principles for which he was unable to kill him, since he was unarmed, leading to Rex killing him instead.
