“ | The days of Kikimora the Underling are over. I prefer partnership such as ours. We need to establish our rule now, for well-being of future generations. | „ |
~ Kikimora explains her new goals. |
Kikimora is a major antagonist in Disney Channel animated series The Owl House, serving as a supporting antagonist in Season 1, one of two secondary antagonists (alongside the Golden Guard) of Season 2, and a major antagonist in Season 3.
She's Emperor Belos' ruthless and power-hungry assistant, who's trying to become his new right-hand man by any means, mostly by trying to kill his "nephew" Hunter/The Golden Guard. However, after being betrayed by Belos on the Day of Unity, she would help King free Collector, before using the child's chaotic regime over Boiling Isles as an opportunity to start empire of her own.
She was voiced by Mela Lee.
What Makes Her a Hate Sink?[]
In General[]
- Unlike her fellow members of the Emperor's Coven like Lilith Clawthorne who was motivated with trying to cure the curse she inflicted on her sister and Hunter who was previously obsessed with getting the approval of Emperor Belos until he learned the truth of being a Grimwalker, Kikimora has no mitigating or sympathetic motivations for being in the coven aside from being shown as cowardly willing to serve under authority.
- She becomes way more unhinged by the end of the show.
- Anytime she is given moments where she could possibly change for the better, she subverts them making it clear all she really wants is power.
- Though she has many comedic moments, the vast majority of them just show how pathetic she is.
Season 1[]
- She bullied Lilith anytime she failed to capture her sister.
- She tried to have Eda, Lilith and King petrified.
Season 2[]
- Becoming envious of Hunter, she tried to have him repeatedly murdered.
- Despite Luz taking pity on her and trying to help her during the Coven Day Parade, Kikimora betrayed her and Amity after she is told that she would receive a "reward" which turns out to be getting to live a little longer.
- She used a spell to entrap Raine Whispers when they were refusing to be a contributor to the Day of Unity.
- Much like fellow Hate Sink Odalia Blight, Kikimora knew that the Day of Unity was a front for a draining spell and kept quiet about it hoping to profit off the mass genocide of her fellow brethren just so she could get rewarded.
- Even Emperor Belos showed disgust towards her, first deriding her for thinking he would have her be by his side (that he would rather cut his arm off), and bluntly telling her to find a hole to wither away in.
- While she helped King with releasing the Collector, she only did so out of selfish reasons.
Season 3[]
- She tried to manipulate Boscha so she could build herself up to ruling Hexside in a way not too dissimilar to Belos.
- She tried to kill the Hexsquad and Camila repeatedly.
- While she is seen helping rebuild the Isles after the time skip, this is most likely mandatory since it’s punishment for the crimes she committed in the Boiling Isles.
