The King of Ooo is a major antagonist in Adventure Time. He is a fraud and a thief who pretends to be the one true king of Ooo before taking over the throne of the Candy Kingdom.

He plays a minor role in season 5 and becomes a significant antagonist in season 6. Additionally, he is one of the secondary antagonists in the Stakes arc before being defeated. He is the boss of Toronto, the former temporary princess of the Candy Kingdom, and Princess Bubblegum's second archenemy.

He was played by Andy Daily.

What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]

At the time of officiating the wedding of Mr. Pig and Tree Trunks, he implied that he would keep their property as a reward.
He claims to be the one true king of Ooo, and he also claims to be 8000 years old. Due to his poverty and that Ooo is not a unified kingdom, he is obviously lying.
He pretended to be Sweet P's friend to make him dance and make people make fun of him, so he could take advantage and steal from distracted people.
He is a rather mean scammer and thief, who along with his assistant Toronto took advantage of Sweet P to steal and threatened to burn down his orchard.
He made elections to remove Princess Bubblegum from the throne, unfortunately succeeding in doing so. To make matters worse, he is a terrible leader, as he became upset when a comet almost crashed and blamed everything on Princess Bubblegum even though she had nothing to do with it.
He coldly dismissed Finn and Jake just for not bringing him his flying mushroom like he wanted.
He told the Banana Guards that they were only there to protect those who matter: himself.This implies that he does not care about the safety of his kingdom, since he only wanted the Candy People to praise him but he did not worry when the Dark Cloud attacked Ooo.
Although he has many comical moments, most show how pathetic he is or serve as punishment for his bad actions.
Although he claims that children made fun of him when he was a child, it is a very poor excuse with no justification, and he is not played with any sympathy. To make his attitude worse, it is hypocritical with his supposed bad childhood.
His defeat of him being stripped of the throne and melted in fire by Crunchy is played with satisfaction.
Outside of his apparent friendship with his assistant Toronto, he has no redeeming qualities.
He is Bonnibel's second archenemy, but unlike Uncle Gumbald, he does not have his intelligence.
