Kokatsu is the abusive father to Kawaki. He is a minor character and an antagonist in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime and manga who appears in Kawaki's flashback. He is a disgruntled man who once fought in the Fourth Ninja World War but has since lived near a village with his son.
What Makes him Hated?[]
- He was constantly abusing his son, Kawaki, by physically and psychologically abusing him.
- Kokatsu never cared about Kawaki and always demeaned and looked down on him.
- Kokatsu would beat up Kawaki when he did not follow all his orders correctly.
- Kokatsu sold Kawaki to Jigen for profit and mocked him as being meaningless to him.
- He is shown to be lazy and slothful. He constantly orders Kawaki to get him alcohol from the nearby village and would threaten him with violence if he did not get it.
- He faces no consequences for his crimes and is presumably having fun with the money Jigen paid him.
- He had no redeeming qualities or any comedic moments.
