Lawrence Williams is a major antagonist in GTA x SMG4 Squid Game. He was a gangster affiliated with the Brothers In Arms, and joined the game only to keep himself out of debt and to use that money in order to become the most feared gangster of the Mushroom Kingdom, and even Los Santos.
What Makes Him A Hate Sink?[]
- Long before the events of the book, he regularly abused his son and forced him into the gang industry. This would cause a rampage of anger from his son, and caused the death of his pregnant wife.
- He indirectly caused the death of Player 324, tricking him into thinking he would be sent to the back of the line during the Red Light, Green Light game.
- He was a former VIP of the Squid Games, and used this to get away with his crimes. But this would all backfire once he went into debt during a gambling game. In which he would steal an athlete's invitation to the Squid Games, before killing her.
- He shoved 4 players during the Red Light, Green Light game, leading to them being spotted by the doll, and killed on the spot.
- While he aligned with Jang Deok-su to keep each other safe, he only did it for self-serving reasons and was ecstatic when he got the news of Jang's death.
- In the second game, he used a lighter to cheat his way to successfully cutting the shape out. When a guard tried confronting him for it, he set her on fire, not showing the slightest bit of shock.
- He claims that SMG0 is a true player, and a candidate to win. But in secret, he only used him as a pawn to successfully win the second challenge. As soon as he admits to this, he purposely broke SMG0's cookie.
- His actions were so repulsive in the third game that even Claude, Catalina, Devin, Steve, and Il-nam betrayed him.
- In the fourth game, he purposely paired himself up with Desti. After he cheated his way to winning, he ultimately choked her out, before stabbing her in the heart.
- When confronted by Meggy for his repulsive cheating strategies, he shrugs it off as "another player."
- In the fifth game, he stayed behind alongside Deok-su and mutually forced other players to go or he would send his men after their entire family. When it came down to him and Deok-su, they each fought each other before he would ultimately toss Deok-su to his death near the end of the challenge.
- While attempting to reach the next game, he shoved Tari off the glass stepping stones. This would horrify the other players, as she was a beloved player amongst them. He would once again shrug her death off as "another player."
- He sadistically joked around with the guards about wanting to eat Tari's remains, implying that he could possibly be a cannibal.
- In the sixth game, the Game Changer, he brutally murdered Axol as soon as he dodged the sword as it stabbed Melony. He sadistically laughed it off, and even used Axol's head as bait to kill fellow players.
- Right before his death in the Game Changer, he ripped a participant's part of his neck out with his teeth, before he would be stabbed in the stomach by Meggy out of vengeance. He would then state that Desti was another player, before Meggy sternly said that she had a family, before he died on the spot.
