Le Tenia is the main antagonist of the 2001 French controversial film Irreversible.

He was portrayed by Jo Prestia.

What Makes Him Hated?[]

He is a misogynistic rapist picking an innocent Alex threatening her with a switch blade before raping and beating her possibly to death.
He has zero empathy, remorse or redeeming qualities.
He gets away with raping Alex.
He is shown to take pleasure in his heinous crimes for the entire time he is on screen.
He is arrogant.
Being a complete scumbag for the fun of it.
When he sees Marcus and Pierre beat another man (whom they mistook for Le Tenia) to death, he smiles sadistically, taking joy in the violent sight and the death of another person.
It’s likely he will keep being a sickening person since he sadly unfortunately gets no punishments, not even a slap on the wrist
