Leanne Platter is the main antagonist of King of the Hills episode "Leanne's Saga". She is the mother of Luanne Platter and ex-husband of Hoyt Platter live eighteen years until they married has end she stab him by fork.

She was voiced by Pamela Adlon.

What Makes Her a Hate Sink?[]

  • For eighteen years, she has fought her husband, Hoyt, over her excessive drinking habit. At a certain point, she threw beer at him and Chase before stabbing Hoyt with a fork, which eventually got her arrested and sent to jail.
  • When she gets out of jail, everyone, even Boomhauer, has nothing nice to say about her. Hank gives Bobby a signal in case Leanne goes berserk.
  • When Luanne quits school in favor of looking for a job, Leanne agrees, showing that she doesn't care for her daughter drooping out from school.
  • She spends on Bill's money needed for his foot fungus treatment.
  • She indirectly takes over Luanne's puppet show by playing stabbing fork, disturbing the elderly people who were watching the show.
  • She goes back to her drinking habit, at one point breaking court order because of her reckless drinking.
  • In a drunken fit of rage, she begins to torture Bill by punching him in the arm and later face, giving him a bruise and a black eye.
  • At the party Luanne is at, her acholic rage is volatile enough to disturb everyone, even making her daughter cry from embarrassed.
  • She tries to hit on Buckley after calling her a skank, before later attempting to stab him with a fork until Peggy steps in.
  • She lies about Peggy for supposedly "dropping her guard", yet she attacks her brother for the same thing, and without remorse to.
  • After she beats up Bill, Leanne tires to reconcile Luanne, but she refuses, saying that she is no longer the "sister who stole Bill's truck" (he is allowed to take his truck as long she doesn't come back).
