Loly Aivirrne is a minor antagonist of the manga and anime Bleach. She's the 33rd Arrancar in Sōsuke Aizen's army. She and Menoly Mallia served as Aizen's aides. She abused and tortured Orihime for her jealousy of Aizen’s attention on her.
She is voiced by Hana Takeda in the Japanese version and by Colleen O'Shaughnessey in the English dub.
What Makes Her a Hate Sink?[]
- She was furious at having to bring Orihime Inoue before Aizen and the fact that Aizen was giving her more "attention" than Loly, who seemed to be infatuated with him.
- She, along with Menoly, broke into Orihime's quarters and decided to take it out on her out of pure jealousy, abusing her both physically and mentally. Loly even went as far as Bali and even Cero, almost killing Orihime.
- When she and Menoly were massacred by Grimmjow, who had saved Orihime as repayment for his debt for restoring his arm, and were cured by Orihime, Loly felt absolutely no gratitude towards her, even for bringing her friend back to life, merely calling her a "monster".
- After learning about Aizen's true plans and that Orihime was not that valuable to him at all, and only served as bait for Ichigo and his friends, Loly decided to find her and take revenge on her to gain higher recognition from Aizen.
- On the way to the place of Ichigo's fight with Ulquiorra, where Orihime was also supposed to be, Menoly, feeling the spiritual energy of both opponents, tried to convince Loly that they should let go and that she did not want to kill the girl who managed to bring her back to life, to which Loly reacted only by punching her friend straight in the face, without any remorse, stating that they would catch her and create hell for her before Ichigo could save her.
- When Orihime stood quietly on the side and watched Ichigo and Ulquiorra fight, Loly and Menoly grabbed her from behind and Loly, with a nasty smile on her face, asked her if she remembered her and that a monster like her was probably not interested in the fate of an "ordinary girl" what Loly herself thinks she is, and then intends to strip her of everything Orihime allegedly stole from her, they start by ripping her clothes off, stating that her time is up.
- When Ichigo noticed two Arrancars attacking Orihime and tried to save her, Loly grabbed Orihime and threatened Ichigo that if he came any closer, she would gouge out her eyes.
- When Loly encouraged her friend to tear her apart and she refused, she accused her of going soft due to Orihime bringing her back to life, and when Menoly denied it, Loly called her a coward and decided to kill Inoue herself.
- Although Loly eventually defended Orihime from Yammy's attack, after the latter healed her the second time, she stated that she hated her and was annoyed by her kindness.
- Overall, Loly, through her sadistic and desperate abuse of Orihime, both physically and mentally, done solely out of pure envy towards her as Aizen gives her more attention, even though it was completely false and a result of a plan Aizen, showed that she is an absolutely repulsive character, and her hatred among fans is absolutely right.
