Lord Orm is the main antagonist of the Justice League episode, The Enemy Below. He is the bigoted and treacherous younger brother of Aquaman, mad that he didn't try wiping out the surface world.
He was voiced by Richard Green.
What Makes Him Despicable?[]
- His main motive is that he is very bigoted amongst humans. And it isn't due to what all the humans do to their waters and decreases the safety of Atlantis, it is merely just because Orm doesn't like them, and was mad at his brother for not trying to wipe them out.
- Has no remorse for any of his crimes. On the contrary, he is extremely prideful on them.
- Is willing to have his own flesh & blood harmed in order to get what he wants, such as when he has paid Deadshot to assassinate Aquaman, his own brother, in order to gain an excuse to wage war against the surface world and wipe out the population, and to steal the crown.
- When Aquaman returns to Atlantis, Orm then has Aquaman blamed as a traitor to have him executed secretly.
- Threatens Mera to cooperate by using the safety of her and Aquaman's infant son. He then takes him with him to a secret place.
- Said secret place is a mountain near an underwater fissure vent, to which he taunts Aquaman, whom he makes fun of his situation of being chained up to a mountain, before revealing his crying infant nephew, planning to have him killed as well, planning to blame it on the humans.
- Further taunts Aquaman on how both their deaths would make him the rightful heir to the throne, while then sadistically telling him that he is off to avenge their deaths before blowing up the mountain, having them drop into the lava while he watches sadistically for some time before leaving. In order to save his still cring son, Aquaman had to amputate his own arm free himself and carry his child.
- Plans to have the Doomsday Thermal Reactor to melt the polar ice caps and flood the entire world, drowning everyone.
- When about to fall to his death, Orm cowardly begs Aquaman to save him.
- In a blink-or-you'll-miss-it moment, Orm briefly smiles evilly when he sees Aquaman approaching him, thinking he was about to be saved, which means he was actually planning to backstab and kill Aquaman even after being saved, that was until it was seen that Aquaman was instead reclaiming his trident back.
