"Love to hate" factors	He shows decent manipulation and cunning skills. The twist of him being an antagonist in Yuuki's perspective is interesting.

Makoto Itou is the main antagonist of the Cross Days manga. While he's presented as an affable yet clueless boy in the School Days manga, he's presented as a psychopathic rapist in this crossover.

What Makes Him a Hate Sink?

• While he generally puts on a nice façade as seen in most versions of his character, this version of him is a downright psychopath and displays extreme arrogance, believing every girl wants to have sex with him and bullies others for speaking against him.
• He only loves Katsura and Sekai for their bodies. When Yuuki confronts him about this, he arrogantly brags that anybody will do the same, considering Sekai does whatever he tells him and Katsura has a nice body. He has no issues with dating both at the same time and seeks to date even more girls.
• When Yuuki confronts him about his misdeeds, he refuses to take responsibility unless he brings him cute girls to do god knows what to them.
• He attempts to rape Yuuki when he disguises himself as a girl, while telling him to be an obedient girl and grabbing him aggressively.
• He tries to rape Rouko and claims she needs to reach adulthood.
• After finding out Yuuki is a boy, he believes it to be Yuuki's fetish and says he will not spill his secret and embarrass as long as he continues to have sex with him, whether or not he wants too.
• He tries to reveal Yuuki's secret when he tries to expose him for cheating on Sekai, only for it to pathetically not work due to everybody believing Makoto is a liar.
• Thanks to his actions, Katsura ends up hating Yuuki, which drives him to commit suicide. Makoto doesn't show remorse for this.
• He faces no consequence for his actions.

Trivia

• It is unclear if this manga takes place in the same universe of the original School Days manga, where he actually shows remorse for his actions. However, this book goes out of its way to make him as hateable as possibly so it's possible that wouldn't even matter.
• Although has done similar horrible things to him (even attempting to rape multiple people of varying ages) his actions are based on player choices so he can not qualify as a Hate Sink.
• It was rumored that he got murdered in a car accident but it was cut from the manga for unknown reasons, so in other words, he'll die anyway.
