Mami Nanami is the main antagonist of the manga and anime series Rent-A-Girlfriend. She was the former girlfriend of Kazuya who she dumped after just a month in favor of dating someone 'new', which would setting off the some events through the series.

She is voiced by Aoi Yūki in Japanese and by Laura Stahl in the English dub.

What Makes Her Despicable?[]

She emotionally and psychologically abuses Kazuya such as when Kazuya first introduced her to his "girlfriend" Chizuru.
Despite the fact that she was the one who dumped Kazuya, she is obsessed with sabotaging his relationship with Chizuru. The likeliest reason for this is because she was offended that he seemingly got over her in a short amount of time.
She attempts to insert herself into Kazuya's life by befriending Kazuya's grandmother.
While she promises Chizuru that she would not disclose that Chizuru was a rental girlfriend, it is only because she threatens to share the information to the others.
She steals a kiss from Kazuya. Keep in mind that this was before she found out Chizuru was a rental girlfriend. As far as she was concerned, she was knowingly forcing Kazuya into having an affair.
