~ The manager's last words before freeing Mitsuboshi and before Satou uploads the video off-screen, exposing her for who she actually is.

The Manager of Princess Imperial is the opening antagonist of the 2015 psychological horror manga Happy Sugar Life, and its 2018 anime adaptation of the same name.

Hence her title, she is a Manager who works at a cafe that is called the "Princess Imperial". She seems to appear as friendly and honest woman. However, she would later reveal her true colors, revealing her to be an obsessed narcissist who had raped Taiyo Mitsuboshi (an adolescent minor) many times and has no care for her staff but herself.

She was played by Sanae Kobayashi.

What Makes Her A Hate Sink?[]

  • During her time as a manager at the cafe "Princess Imperial", she would abused her position quite often and uses it as an opportunity to sexually harass her younger wait staff for many years as a way to make them only love her and so she can have an "empire" of people who love her.
  • When Sato gave a love confession from Taiyo Mitsuboshi, the manager got her to be bullied by the other wait staff and docked her pay. This shows how obsessive that the Manager is.
  • She kidnapped the young Mitsuboshi and held him in her cabinet in her office, where she would abuse and rape him for days as a way to make him love her. This would cause him to be psychologically scarred and be manipulated by Sato Matsuzaka.
  • Her defeat of getting her crimes exposed is rather satisfying and is never shown for sympathy.
  • Even though she did get punished for her crimes, she hasn't been insufficient punishment and her fate has never been revealed.
