Mayu's Mother & Stepfather are minor antagonists in the upcoming fanfic by LordGalvatronYT Elfen Lied What If...? story What If... Tomoo Survived The Orphanage Massacre?. Like their canon counterparts they are mother and stepfather of Mayu abused her into running away and effecting her mental health where she ends up moving into Maple Inn with her mother using her moving in there as an excuse to get rid of her.
What Makes Them Hate Sinks?[]
- Like their canon selves they abused Mayu and had no problem having her move into the Mapple Inn.
- What worse they became gamblers and betting due to no longer needing to care for an child seeing why she held them back only winning money and even lashing on some others due to Mayu being gone.
- However unlike their main series versions they end up being punished for their actions as when Lucy shared her past with Tomoo, Mayu shares her's to relate with her knowing what it is like, after she was done this angered the Diclonius Queen after hearing what they did to her, this make Lucy track them down to their home welcoming them back intending to make them suffer by torturing and killing them.
- When they called her an disgusting freak and when they learn she is friend of their former daughter, this made them thrown insults at Lucy such as calling her "disgusting freak friend of their failure of an daughter" and "Heartless Monster".
- When the stepfather attempted to violate Lucy like he did with Mayu she slams them into the wall with her vectors making now panic in fear showing they are spineless when facing someone who is equal or stronger than them due to easily preying on Mayu who is weaker.
- After Lucy tortured them a bit they begged her to spare them even offering to fake apologizing and letting accepting Mayu back which Lucy saw through and intending to make them sorry for their actions.
- When Mayu followed Lucy they begged her to make her spare them but due to their mistreatment of her, she is unable to feel remorse to them and saying goodbye to them especially saying the mother she knew is gone leaving their fate to Lucy meaning Mayu lost any sympathy to them due to their mistreatment of her.
- Their brutal deaths by Lucy's hands is well played for their actions towards Mayu and traumatizing her finally getting punishment unlike their original versions that avoided it.
