Melascula is a minor antagonist in Seven Deadly Sins and a major antagonist in its spinoff sequel, Four Knights of the Apocalpyse. She is an elite soldier of the Demon Clan who serves for the Ten Commandments directly under the Demon King, title Melascula the Faith. She later becomes a servant of Arthur Pendragon known as Chaos Melascula.

What Makes Her a Hate Sink?

• Her most notable magic power is reviving dead people into zombie-like creatures and amplifying their most negative traits, turning them into vengeful stalkers, mutilators and/or murderers. She uses them for her dirty work and clearly enjoys it.
  • One of these included Elaine, Ban's dead girlfriend. She turns her love for Ban into a stalkerish obsession, making her try to kill Jericho out of jealousy for just being with Ban.
• Her Commandment of Faith makes anybody who has doubt have their eyes explode. While she has no control over this, it's not like she's apologetic to any of her victims.
• She seems to be extremely egotistical about her beautiful appearance, while in reality she is just an ugly snake.
• She and Galand joyously toy with the life of Escanor, who they think is a harmless bartender.
• She wanted to torture Meliodas to death out of spite for his friends' actions. This was without the approval of Meliodas's "brother", Estarossa, another Commandment. Estarossa even went as far as to say she deserved getting her neck snapped by Ban.
• She develops a severe hatred towards Ban for breaking her jaw even though she deserved it for torturing Meliodas.
• She is cowardly as seen when she tries to run away from Merlin after transforming back into her small snake state.
• Unlike most of the Ten Commandments, who are portrayed as complex, she doesn't have any complexity towards her character and is evil for the fun of it.
