Michael's Father is the overarching antagonist of ShanePlays' Roblox movie, The Hated Step Child.
What makes him a Hate Sink?[]
- He loves his stepson Darren more than his own son Michael.
- He does nothing to stop his new wife and stepson's abuse of Michael.
- When Michael ends up in the hospital from being forced to work out in the field on a hot day with no water until he collapsed from heatstroke, his father is present when his second wife starts insulting Michael. While he at first tells her to go easy on Michael, he soon turns around and gets mad at Michael for "being disrespectful" toward his stepmother (he begged her to give him water while she was forcing him to work, which they somehow see as disrespectful). He also has no reaction when his second wife calls Michael a brat, nothing, and a loser. When Michael insists he is not a brat, his father gets mad at him for talking back to his stepmother.
- When Michael tells him that he and his stepmother shouldn't be shouting at him while he is in the hospital, his father gets angry at him and grounds him.
- He never reforms or suffers any karma. By the end of the movie, Michael is still stuck in an abusive environment.
