The first ex-fiance of Mitsuri Kanroji is a minor character in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
He was the first fiance of Mitsuri Kanroji whom dated her when she was fifteen, until he rejected her due to her traits which he found undesirable, with his final insults towards her before leaving causing Mitsuri's insecurities.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- He rejected Mitsuri as a suitor due to her superhuman strength, pink hair and huge appetite.
- He coldly insulted Mitsuri by telling her that only a bear, boar or cow would marry her, before leaving while telling her to forget they ever met.
- His insults resulted in Mitsuri developing a negative self-image of herself, making her dye her own hair black and hide her strength under the façade of a fragile woman, seeing herself as abnormal and not being beautiful until she joined the Demon Slayer Corps so she could be accepted for who she was.
- Despite only appearing briefly in a flashback, he is mainly portrayed in a mean-spirited light and being the one responsible for Mitsuri's insecurities at the start of her arc.

- Out of all the characters from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, he is considered to be the most hated character among audiences due to his hateable demeanor being more grounded in reality, and lacking the interesting or fantastical qualities most antagonists have.
