The Mother Swan and Duck's Siblings are the true main antagonists of The Ugly Duckling - an Analog Horror, which was animated by DaKillaYoshi.
They are the former parent and siblings to Duck who were responsible for Duck's fall into insanity.
When Mother Swan's children were ducklings, they would bully Duck for his appearance and disown him. As a result, when the ducklings became adults, would come to kill them one by one, with Mother Swan being the last one to die.
What Makes Them Hate Sinks?[]
- When Mother Swan had gave birth to her babies, when she and her ducklings realized that Duck was born different, one of the ducklings will call Duck "ugly", with Mother Swan herself being disgusted at Duck's appearance before abusing Duck by pecking at him and forcing him away from the nest.
- Mother Swan and The Ducklings would then call Duck a "freak" and would tell him that he would never be beautiful. The family will then shame Duck for his appearance relentlessly everyday (i.e. making fun of what his beak, body, size, and feathers looked like), causing Duck to sob into tears.
- They would say that Duck's feathers are "plain and gross like dirt", while telling him that he'll never have feathers like them.
- After constant mistreatment, this will lead to Duck leaving the family, with Duck's family showing no concern about Duck, with one of the ducklings cruelly calling Duck a "Runt".
- As the Ducklings became beautiful Swans and went to a place of their own, they thought about their past as they were swimming in the lake. While Silvie does know that even though Duck "wasn't a looker", she thought that it was strange that he left their family. However, Simon and the other Ducklings (except for Silvie) are shown to have zero remorse for what they did, with Simon referring to Duck as "that thing" and talking about how Duck's feathers were "sh-tty" and that Duck had a "weird stare". Simon would also say that Duck leaving the family (or as he says it as "out of the picture") was a "blessing".
- This would lead to Silvie to tell him that his actions are is horrible as just because Duck was a bit different from them, didn't mean that they had to be so mean to him as kids. However, Simon would not listen to Silvie and tells the former to "loosen up" about it, while asking Silvie about what good does caring do about it now, showing that Simon and the other Ducklings (excluding Silvie) have no care for what happened to Duck.
- Their actions that they have done to Duck as kids and showing no concern for Duck is the main factors of why Duck became a murderous monster that he would become later in the story, which would lead to the other Ducklings to be brutally murdered one-by-one, with Mother Swan being the last one to be killed. Their deaths (debatably except for Silvie) were rather karmatic and were not played for sympathy.
