Mr. Hartford is a minor yet pivotal antagonist of Rick Griffin's famous webcomic, Housepets!
He is Sasha's abusive and former owner who only adopted her to get attention of women and thus made her into becoming traumatized and paranoid which to lead him getting arrested.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- Unlike other villains in Housepets who are played for laughs, he is the only one who is played completely seriously in the story.
- He only adopted Sasha so she can make him more attractive to women.
- Whenever Sasha doesn't get him women, He abuses her and locks her outside as punishment.
- He's always alcoholic and neglectful to Sasha, insulting her throughout her entire life.
- His abuse caused Sasha to be very traumatized and paranoid which lead to him getting arrested.
- It's confirmed He is one of the hated characters in the entire series.
