Mung is a minor antagonist in Avatar: The Last Airbender, serving as the main antagonist of the Book Three: Fire episode "The Painted Lady".

He is a Fire Nation general who abused a poor town and polluted their river.

What Makes Him a Hate Sink?

• He's abusive towards a town.
• He polluted a river.
• His abuse is so bad that the town barely has any good food and there's lots of sick people and injured kids.
• He attempted to destroy the town when he thought the poor people of the town blew up their factory.
• He hates any hope the town had as he mocked them about the Painted Lady and when Katara came to stop him from destroying the town he tried to kill her.
• He's taken very seriously unlike Zuko and Azula, he has no evil is cool moments unlike Ozai and Hama aside from his fire bending and he's not extremely smart like Long Feng and Zhao.
• Just like the Offshore Prison Warden and Poon he abuses power and is very cruel and loathsome.
