The Murfree Brood are minor antagonists in the video game Red Dead Redemption II. They are an extremely territorial family of hillbillies that terrorize the region of Roanoke Ridge and murder anyone they come across.

What Make Them Hate Sinks?

• Overall, they are among the most barbaric and savage gangs in the game. With the exception of the Skinner Brothers and Night Folk, no gang can compete with their inhumane atrocities that horrify and even disgust Arthur, Charles, and John.
  • Out of pure sadism, they mercilessly kidnap, enslave and brutally torture, murder and dismember locals and travelers in the most horrific ways just for fun, in addition to imprisoning, raping and torturing the women before killing them. They are also known to cannibalize their victims.
  • They abuse their captives to the point that they end up just as disfigured, malnourished and insane as their captors.
  • They rob stagecoaches to capture more victims.
  • Among their hostages is a young woman named Meredith Buckley, who not only is the sole survivor of the torture and rape due to luckily being saved by Arthur and Charles but is also traumatized for life as a consequence.
