The Night Feeder is a minor antagonist of the show, Primal, serving as the titular main antagonist of the episode of the same name.
What makes it a Hate Sink[]
- It kills for fun.
- Even though it is established as a carnivorous dinosaur, it doesn't bother eating the corpses of the creatures it kills. It just leaves their corpses a bloody mess, establishing wastefulness.
- It chases Spear and Fang throughout the episode with intent to kill them.
- It slaughters an entire group of herbivores one at a time, relishing in their panic as it does so.
- It likes to terrify its victims before killing them.
- Whenever light is missing, he viciously slaughters his preys.
- Unlike the Plague Monster from the episode before it, Spear and Fang have no sympathy for the Night Feeder when it is burned alive but rather rejoiced when it dies with their faces screaming “Good Riddance.”
Trivia[]
- The Night Feeder isn't physically shown until the very end of its episode when it is burned alive, with its presence for most of the episode being from its perspective.
