Nightshade is a secondary antagonist to Garth Ennis's Ghost Rider: Trail of Tears comics.
He is a part of George Reagan's gang that helped with all events in the comics.
What makes him Hated?[]
- He was likely a slave owner like Reagan.
- He helped George Reagan in sadistically gangraping Caleb's wife to death and nailing his children onto a tree for them to be shot to death.
- He has helped George Reagan in raping and pillaging numerous villages, resulting in hundreds to thousands of innocent people to die.
- Once he was revived as an evil spirit, he helped Reagan to perform a raid that was so vile that it caused even someone like Travis (who went through hell in the civil war as well as the path of vengeance for his friend Caleb) to throw up in disgust.
- He brutally mutilated Travis by ripping off his arm with his bare hands.
- He brutally killed Jennie (Travis's lover) right in front of him with no remorse.
- He also killed other villagers after holding them hostage for Ghost Rider.
