What Makes Them Despicable	Bullying and torturing Maria's son, Kiritaka Nagare. Making Kiritaka Nagare jump off a cliff which heavily injured him which later got him killed by a truck. Being responsible for all of Maria Akeboshi's pain and suffering.
"Love to hate" factors	Has a seemingly twisted care for Kiritaka Nagare. He is a very Intelligent manipulator, which confere upon him a reasonable "Evil Is Cool" vibe. His design is somewhat attractive.

Nozomu Okaya is the main antagonist of the Maria No Danzai series. He is an extremely sadistic and manipulative scumbag who is the target of Maria's revenge and is responsible for the bullying and brutal assault of his fellow classmates.

What Makes Him a Hate Sink?

Background

• He bullied Kiritaka Nagare for petty reasons other than only getting joy through inflicting suffering on others which is super unhealthy.

Maria No Danzai

• He would reach his infamous moment where he blackmails Kiritaka Nagare to jump off a cliff by using a edited video of Mari Nagare. This results in Kiritaka Nagare heavily injured and later be BRUTALLY killed by a truck in front of his own mother Mari Nagare traumatizing her. This makes him responsible for her fall into villainy as Maria Akeboshi, making him responsible for her becoming broken and in pain.
  • While he didn't intend to get Kiritaka Nagare actually killed and only wanted him to be hospitalized so he can torment him more. This still falls on his fault for causing this event in the first place.
  • And he only got away with this due to influence because of his mother Shizuka Okaya being chief of police covering up this event.
• Unlike his supposed friends, he was completely remorseless when the other bullies got killed by Maria throughout the series and while they're also Hate Sinks. This can't be ignored however.
• He is currently unpunished for his actions though likely he will be killed by Maria at the end of the series.
