Otis is the main antagonist of the 1986 horror film Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer. He is a perverted and murderous man who routinely forces himself on his sister for fun. He's also a necrophile and hebephile.

He was portrayed by the late Tom Towles.

What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]

  • He treats his sister Becky like garbage, making incestuous advances towards her and even mocking the abusive marriage she just got out of. Even Henry doesn't take kindly to Otis trying to kiss Becky, saying "don't do that, she's your sister!" while making him apologize (albeit for pragmatic reasons only).
  • He sells weed to a teenage boy, during which he tries to molest said boy in his car only for him to break Otis' nose and steal the weed scot-free.
    • Later on, to vent out frustration over not being able to kill the boy since he'd be a public suspect, Otis goes to an underpass and shoots a random driver to death.
  • While helping Henry murder a family in their own home, Otis personally snapped the wife's neck and then tried to have sex with her corpse before Henry stopped him. He then kept video footage of the act to rewatch and get off on whenever he wants.
  • He rapes Becky, even strangling her during the act before Henry comes in to save her.
  • When at Henry's mercy (or lack thereof), Otis cowardly begs for mercy, screaming "PLEASE DON'T!" when he's about to get stabbed to death with a comb. It doesn't work.
  • He's pretty stupid as his constant sexual advances towards people run the risk of leaving behind DNA evidence, and it takes Henry to stop him each time. He even breaks his video camera looking out the car window, blaming Henry for it rather than himself.
