Peter Griffin is the main protagonist of the non-canon Family Guy season 15 episode "Inside Family Guy", taking place in an alternate scenario where Peter is an actor who plays his own character who gets fired due to his mistreatment of everybody around him.
He is voiced by show creator, Seth MacFarlane.
What Makes Him a Hate Sink?[]
- He is a massive jerk who constantly complains for petty reasons. He makes ridiculous demands from his co-workers and shows no professionalism, which turns everybody against him.
- He had pictures of a naked 18-year-old intern on his phone. He has lied to his wife Lois and claimed this wasn't his doing about 5 times, despite having pictures with her.
- He is a jerk towards his own family and the other actors on multiple instances. He even refuses to interact with them during rehearsals and has them replaced with balloons, even forcing Joe to give up his wheelchair for a balloon.
- He gets angry that his script is only one page when he is too stupid to turn it and find out there are more pages.
- He demands a producer to turn off his flashlight phone then shouts at him for touching his screen.
- He abuses his producers by forcing them too spit in each others mouths, saying he only does this because he hates them.
- When he shows desperation to return to his old job and he is offered one more chance by his directors to come back if he behaves, he immediately says "f*ck you", and blows his chance.
- While on an ad for Cheerios, Peter told the kid actor that he ruined his life by being born and ruining his chances of becoming a rock star, despite the kid looking up to him.
- While he actually does show remorse for his actions, his family and the other actors make it blatantly clear that he will continue to act like a jerk again next week and never learn from his actions, since he has already done it multiple times before and forgotten to the point that the family has grown bored of his antics and gotten indifferent to it.
- This version of him hardly has any comedic moments, partially due to the lack of cutaways and his jerkish personality mostly overshadows the brief funny or affable moments he has.
- While the montage of him getting hit in the crotch with a bag of nickels is painful, it is played for karma and deserved it for acting like such a jerk.
