~ Polliver revealing his sadistic nature to the Hound |
Polliver is an antagonist in Game of Thrones, based on his book counterpart and Boros Blount from A Song of Ice and Fire. He is a Lannister soldier formerly under the employ of Gregor Clegane.
He was portrayed by Andy Kellegher.
What Makes Him Hated?[]
- He is a brutal mercenary who supports the Lannisters.
- He first appears when he snatches Arya's sword and moments later thrusts it through the throat of a boy named Lumi, who asked him to carry him.
- In Harrenhal, he beats up a defenseless old woman just for asking him for a little bit of bread.
- He is involved in the procedures at Harrenhal where prisoners are brutally tortured to death under the commands of Gregor Clegane.
- When Tywin Lannister arrives and stops the torture due to how unnecessary and wasteful it is, he tries to defend it.
- When the Hound and Arya are entering, Polliver and his men are preparing to gang-rape the daughter of the inn-keeper and threatening him to take her with him as a sex slave when the inn-keeper protests.
- He offers Sandor Clegane to give them Arya so they can rape her.
- He has overall zero redeeming qualities and despite only appearing in three episodes, he stands out as a very repulsive individual even for the world of Game of Thrones.
