“ | Principal Cinch: Oh, look, Celestia and Luna. It seems that your “infantile chain dog” has finally decided to show his character? There is no need to waste words, Reaper of Worlds. You don’t want your wretched little “friends” to say goodbye to their lives, do you? Reaper of Worlds: Just try it, Сinch!!! |

~ Director Cinch threatens the lives of those around him in front of the Reaper of Worlds. |
“ | Principal Cinch: Can you imagine what this girl did?! Rebellious weakling! Slenderman: And who are you talking to now? Principal Cinch: About my Twilight Sparkle! Who else can I talk about now?! This nonentity betrayed me! Me! I gave her everything on which she built her intellectual progress at my Academy! Without me, she's just an innocent brat, unable to give anyone a worthy rebuff. Slenderman: Did she directly refuse to study with you? Principal Cinch: No! Not directly! She wants to enroll in the independent study program, not stay at my Academy and serve me. Although I said that I would help her in this matter, after the Friendship Games she will not take an extra step or think an extra thought in my Academy! But worse than that, she's increasingly crossing paths with my enemies from Canterlot High School. Their actions increasingly force her to communicate with them. At this rate, the awareness of right and wrong will quickly awaken in her, and she will definitely leave me later... Sassy girl! Does she think she has the right to allow this “fiery girl” to ask her questions? Slenderman: "Fire girl"?....You don't want to say that she communicates with a former member of Equestrian Evil? Principal Cinch: This stupid Sinset, Sonset, or something....in short, an idiotically complicated name....(shows off his hidden arsenal to Slenderman) Which of these weapons makes me scary and attractive at the same time? Slenderman: (laughs nervously) What are you doing, Cinch? You will not show up to the Friendship Games in this condition and in this form. Principal Cinch: (mumbles) This daring, innocent girl is yet to find out who has control over her freedom and life. And I will destroy everyone in this godforsaken hole called Canterlot High School. |

~ Cinch and Slenderman talk about Sci-Twi. |
Principal Abacus Cinch is one of the main antagonists of the third Equestria Girls film Game of Friendship. She was the former headmistress of Crystal Prep Academy. She is also the sworn enemy of Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna. And she was also a secret arms dealer and Equestrian magic between the Human World and the World of Fantastic Creatures, who planned to take over Forestfear's business and conquer the Human World through an alliance with Slenderman.
What Makes Her a Hate Sink?[]
In General[]
- She is extremely obsessed with creating a generation of children to be like her great image, which is superior to ordinary people. That is why she reacts aggressively and extremely paranoidly to those who begin to move away from her educational system, as well as those who want to leave Crystal Prep Academy, regardless of the reasons for leaving, to those who begin to communicate with rivals of Crystal Prep Academy, and finally those who begin to doubt her teaching methods, or if she begins to suspect someone of spying on her personality and her activities. As a result, all these individuals will be killed regardless of age, status at Crystal Prep Academy, and also how well Cinch treats them.
- She decided to kill her best student, Science Sparkle, simply because Cinch saw that Sparkle often began to communicate with representatives of her sworn enemy, Canterlot High School. Synch didn't care much for the fact that Twilight was completely innocent and too timid to think of going against Director Cinch in any way. All she was interested in was her delusional belief that through Twilight it would be possible to trace the true identity and true activities of Principal Cinch, and also because Twilight wanted to go to Everton and not stay at Crystal Prep Academy.
- From the beginning to the very end of her entire run, she completely lacks any redeeming qualities or likable traits, which at least Juniper Montage, Wallflower Blush, Vincent Valencia, and even PostCrush have, making her arguably the most despicable human villain in the entire My Little Pony Equestria Girls Reaperverse (possibly even more despicable than Filthy Rich). Even other characters in the story deeply despise her, such as Principal Celestia, Vice-Principal Luna, and especially Reaper of Realms. Only Slenderman and Filthy Rich seem to tolerate her and consider her a friend and ally, but even then they are constantly annoyed by her constant paranoia and tantrums.
Past[]
- She planned to become the most influential person in the entire Human World, creating for this purpose her own personal young generation of the Human World, which would obey her in everything. For these purposes, she graduated from Canterlot High School and University as the headmistress of Crystal Prep Academy with excellent degrees, after which she was very quickly able to raise the profile of not only herself, but also Crystal Prep Academy through her method of developing environmental attitudes among the younger generation. This caused almost all of the students at Crystal Prep Academy to become selfish, arrogant, and angry, admiring their superiority not only over other students, but over other schools as well.
My Little Pony: Equestria Girls: Friendship Games[]
- She invites Science Twilight to participate in the Friendship Games, and in return, Cinch uses her influence to get Twilight's application to Everton to allow her into the independent research program. But Cinch did this absolutely not because she wanted to help Twilight, but only in order to manipulate her in such a way that she would remain at Crystal Prep Academy, in the future not even planning to fulfill her part of the deal, otherwise she would still kill Twilight for the fact that, in Cinch's opinion, she would too much like to leave the boundaries of her possessions (that is, Crystal Prep Academy), and as a result of renouncing her absolute power.
- She wanted to kill the Reaper of Worlds simply because he, due to serving the ideology of Harmony, could reveal her true essence and her true activities. She also wanted to kill him because of unreasonable hatred towards him because, as a Guardian, he was friends with children.
- Unlike the original version of herself, who was sincerely shocked by the appearance of the Predaplants at the Friendship Games, this Principal Cinch was sincerely pleased with this situation in her heart, hoping that it would help her defeat Canterlot High School, not caring at all about the lives of those present at the Friendship Games , including their allies.
- She openly ridiculed Reaper of Worlds friendship with the students of Canterlot High School. even calling him an "infantile chain dog" as he sarcastically believes that he is in the service of Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna. And Cinch does this out of the belief that she can thus weaken the desire of Reaper of Worlds to fulfill her duties as a Guardian, and also out of the belief that her insults will give her subordinates sadistic pleasure (although this is a complete lie).
- Threatens to kill everyone the Reaper of Worlds cares about, as well as everyone around him, if he allows Twilight to leave Crystal Preparatory Academy and attend Canterlot High.
- Having lost his only leverage over Twilight, Cinch takes Twilight hostage, threatening her with a magic pistol, but the Reaper of Worlds quickly neutralizes Cinch, taking the gun away from her at superspeed, and rescuing Twilight.
- Realizing that she is in a dire situation, Synch tries to place all the blame on the Fantastic Creatures, saying that they are the real enemies of the Unity, and that they forced her to cooperate with them, but those present refuse to believe her lies.
- Unbeknownst to Slenderman, Nemesis, Leatherface, Splinter Virus, Newborn and Ghost Rider are present when she states this, making them realize that she was never truly interested in them allying with them, and was only using them for her own gain, causing them to angrily back down and allow their "mate" to receive the punishment she deserves for accusing them.
- Threatens the Reaper of Worlds that he and everyone present will regret allowing Twilight to leave Crystal Preparatory Academy, before teleporting to the main courtyard, laughing maniacally, and before disappearing, she attempted to kill everyone present with a wave of fire, and succeeded in this, if they were saved by the Reaper of Worlds and the Guardians, creating a protective dome over each one.
Exclusive to the Novelization[]
- She throws a petulant, childish tantrum when she learns that Sci-Twi wanted to apply to Everton's independent study program, and when Sci-Twi simply started making friendly conversation with Pinkie Pie and Sunset Shimmer, and aims to simply storm into Canterlot High School with a gun to kill everyone in it. Luckily, she is stopped and talked out of it by Slenderman. While this scene is partially played for laughs, it mostly just shows how much of a control freak Cinch is over her students, as well as how her delusional paranoia makes her an unstable psychopath.
- What makes Cinch even worse, is that she stated in a disappointed voice that she really wanted to kill another "traitor", after which she relaxed contentedly when Slenderman offered to find for her those who could satisfy her homicidal-sadistic needs to kill someone. This emphasizes and proves that she kills “traitors” not only out of paranoid thoughts about revealing her identity, but also simply to satisfy her homicidal-sadistic needs to kill someone.
Trivia[]
- She is the first villain in the My Little Pony Equestria Girls Reaperverse to be a Hate Sink.
- While she shares her Hate Sink status with her original character, she manages to surpass her original self due to her larger scale influence, as well as a more personal grudge against everyone at Canterlot High School.
