Professor Down is the second main antagonist of a roleplay series, "The Mystery Forest".
He is a sadistic and cruel sadistic who wants to prove everyone about the Mystery Forest and assists The General into wiping out the animals and the humanoids. He is Ponnie and The Hunter's archenemy.
What makes him a Hate Sink?[]
- He had a petty reason to assist the General into wiping out the animals because nobody believed him about the Mystery Forest and called him a freak which is purely petty.
- He is shown to be very xenophobic to the animals and the humanoids and sees them as pure pests that needs to be removed.
- He was willing to assist the General into experimenting and wiping out the animal race out of pure selflessness.
- He abused his scientists into finishing the projects and nearly caused one scientist to be killed by one of the experiments.
- He taunted Ponnie about her dead parents and blamed her for their deaths.
- Even if he had various breakdowns, they were not played for sympathy but petty.
- He attempted to kill the bear and frog families out of spite when he covered the secrets of the Mystery Forest.
- Was willing to kill Alexia (a child) outright when he was about to be defeated.
- Tried to burn Mae (a tree giantess) down out of his own sadism.
- Even if he knows he is insane, he knows what's right or wrong and he thinks what he's doing is right.
- Despite Xobite's performance and voice acting, he's still an insane, cruel and sadistic scientist who had a very petty reason to become like this.
- Even if his death was pretty brutal, it's not played for sympathy or him being a Scapegoat. As he deserved it in the end.
